Can't believe I've had these on for over 2 weeks and still haven't managed to run over a curb or pedestrian. I was told it was a certainty.

In looking at the base of the housing, I think the resistor is mounted on the back from the factory. We have two options, either remove the entire headlight and screw the new resistor into the back of the headlight and plug it in, or leave the headlights installed and just unplug the old resistor and plug the new one in - then zip tie the remaining plastic piece somewhere convenient.
I think it just depends on how clean you want it to be, and how little you want to remove the bumper again. I think I'll probably remove the bumper and the headlights - only real pain is the TSS dismantling on the 2020s.

You can actually install the resistor without having to take your headlights out again. But if you want to install the new resistor in place of the old ones, you'll need to remove it. I don't think you'll have enough room to unscrew the two screws.

Sounds like according to this, you should be able to locate a similar component on the headlights?
I'm not 100% sure, just inferring from [MENTION=12905]XenonDepot[/MENTION]'s post.
Weird they didn't send you any kind of instruction though.

Yeah no instruction, just stickers. The thing that confuses me is if I can plug something into that I feel like there should be something on the other end to continue the connection.

There was a plug during install that said to use it or not. Looked about the size of what you have. Wonder if it's that plug? Guessing its already unplugged if you want the sequential turns, so only one wire????

It wasn’t that connector. I found the existing black box on the back of the headlight and just simply traced the wire coming out of it. Once I found it I popped it off popped the new one on and zip tied the black box so it’s secured. Just tested it and the hyperblink is gone. The picture is just to show you the toggle I unplugged. Sorry for poor lighting.

I tried to follow this video, but I couldn't find a way to run the tap out through that way without pinching the wire. Did anyone manage to run it this way and have any tips?

Mine is a 2020, and i'm not sure if something changed or not on the 20's, but mine was also pinched very badly going the route in the video. I just went ahead and got the dremel and notched a very small section on the fender side. No more pinching and its not noticeable at all.

Awesome. On the backside, you can even see it from up top, you'll want to find the a white connector. Unplug that and plug your new resistor in place of it.

Was suffering from hyperflash on my 2015, new resistors fixed it. I know its too late for you, but you can install them on the original mounts without removing the bumper. All it takes is a small philips screwdriver and a shop light.
