2015 4runner limited lift question

Hello I been reading for the past couple weeks and I cannot find an answer to a question I been asking myself. I Own a 2015 4runner limited but I think is time to do a lift. but what would be the best option? I use the truck for 80 percent highway use and 20 percent outdoors Use. I would like to know what's the best suspension to lift and level the truck. I'm planning of changing the 20" rims and putting after market 20" rims with wider tires. But one on my main issue is that I want the ride to be good or better then stock. I want a nice stand for the truck since the bicycle tires isn't cutting anymore. I been looking at the blisten 6113 and 5160 setup.. i would like for one to help me out what would be the best setup That I can install or have someone install. Right know I'm in the Seattle area but originally from east coast. What I would like 3" lift the most and have the truck level and or shop I can have the suspension with tires and wheels install.. thanks I really appreciated if someone can help me out..

I really hope you read and looked at pics here because there are literally dozens of threads and thousands of posts about lifts.

You need to be specific on what your goal is and what your budget supports. That would help tremendously. If you go to the 3" mark of lift, you're looking at replacing UCAs and you'll have other considerations. The Bilstein 5100 has proven for many to be a good economical lift with options of going up in the rear with spacers. It's a vast improvement over stock in performance and it's what I've been happily using for a year now. Any series above the 5100 adds strength to a really well proven system here amongst 4R owners. Of course, if price is no object, you can go nuts.

It really all comes down to budget, goals, and the kind of off-roading you plan on doing. Report back with more details and invest some time to search here. A lot. I'm willing to bet everything you want to know is already posted here. I put in the time and came to my conclusion on what I wanted without starting a thread. Just saying. Good luck.

Thanks for the respond. First money is not an issue .. After reading a little more I'm not willing to pass more then 3 inch lift since I have to change the UCAs. I only go to the outbacks once in a while.. Now I been reading that people are loving the blisten 6122/5160.. I'm looking into doing a lift adding sliders and looking into 20" inch fuel wheels with 275 tires but might add spacers.. I'm not sure if I'm going overboard with this setup or just go with blisten 5110. Thanks

Sometimes it can be difficult to find the answers you're looking for in this forum for the limiteds. Im just going to share my personal experience with lifting mine. Take it or leave it.

I also have a 2015 LTE that I use 90% as a daily driver (I live in Texas and there is just not a lot to do here). I just recently put on an Icon stage II suspension, and i LOVE it. It took about a month for it to settle and not be so bouncy, but I've had it on for about 3 months now and i like it better then the XREAS. I do A LOT of driving for my job so I was concerned about performance.

My husband and I recently took it to FJ summit and it performed so much better then I anticipated. I got the stage II to start because of price. The upside/downside to Icon is that they will repair them once they wear out, but it might take a few weeks and you will need something temporarily while they are in repair. I decided not to remove the lines from my XREAS system so i could just put it back on when needed.

I also got the 2in rear coils. I really didn't want to go any higher than 2in at first. The 2in lift was more than enough to get me through some difficult spots in Colorado, so if you don't do a lot of off roading, 3inches might be a little over the top... but that is your preference.

I hope this helps!

I don't have a limited, but I have an SR5 Premium with 3rd row. I did the Bilstein 5100's with Toytec 3" lift. I'd highly recommend it. It's very similar to a stock ride (slightly stiffer) but at this point I'm almost a month in and I'm completely use to it and don't think it's stiff at all.

How many miles do you have on your stock suspension? If it's worked for you for 2+ years, with low miles, just do a simple spacer lift from Daystar or Cornfed to retain the XREAS suspension and call it a day. You'll easily fit the aftermarket wheels and tires. Finding better ride quality with aftermarket suspension is so subjective, but if 80% of your driving is on road, the suspension you have is the best for that job.

Same boat here. 2015 limited, wanted a lift but also wanted to keep a nicer ride. Ditched XREAS and replaced with KING all the way around with remote reservoirs, ICON springs, and new UCAs. Also removed the stock 20's and went 17's for more rubber to the road (KO2 275/70/17). Definitely not a cheap option but do it right the first time, you'll be happier in the long run.

^^^^ Second that. Kings are the best money I ever spent. ICON 2" rear springs as well as Total Chaos UCAs. Handling on the hwy improved way beyond what I thought it would and of course their off road abilities are a blast.

Thanks guy i narrow it down.. I really appreciated your imput.

Go KING. I did the same with my 2015 Limited and never regretted it at all. Plus you can crank up the coil overs higher should you want to do the UCAs down the road. To me, if I was going to yank out XREAS from a new $45k vehicle I wanted to ensure it road the same if not better. After riding in a friends LC, I was sold on Kings.

Let me know if you want more info or pics :bigok:
