2015 Trail, oil maint reset

I changed the oil today and reset the maintenance light, but it never did read “000000”. What’s the deal did I do it wrong?

Turn on key, don't start. Put trip counter in Trip A.
Turn off
Hold reset button, turn on key, don't start.
Indicator should do the countdown thing.
Done.

Did all that, the maintenance display did go from one side to the other but that’s it. In the manual says it will display 000000,. does not

This works for me on a 2018 Off Road Premium.

My 2015 TEP did the same thing. You're good.
