I heard about this last June when I was in Denver for my father-in-law's 80th birthday. Unfortunately Hancock Pass and Tincup Pass were closed due to snow. Are all of these passes clear in August?

My wife's high school reunion in Denver is in August this year but I don't know the exact dates. Let's hope it's near the same time then I can drive out with the pop-up camper, do the Jamboree, then stay in Denver the following week.

Yes, those passes will be clear by August. August and September are awesome months to visit CO for sure!

I had a close call with vacation scheduling / shift changes here at work and I thought I was going to miss out this year. BUT... after the dust settled I now have 8/8 - 8/21 off work, so not only can I attend, but I can stick around for a little extra fishing time afterward.

I'll be bringing the '01 again... the silver one in front, LH side of the photo.

Can't wait to see this view again!

Sounds like a kick ass time. I'm assuming tents, RV's, PUPs, sleeping in beds of trucks, sleeping under stars are all fair game??? BYOB, food and cooking supplies as well?

Yes, bring anything you want. Tents, campers, RV's, toterhomes, whatever. We'll have enough space for it all. Yes, BYOB, food, cooking stuff. We will have one main campfire and we're asking people not to make their own individual fires. You can always cook over the main fire.

We'll most likely have a BBQ for everyone Saturday night so you won't have to worry about dinner that night.

A newbee to the Jambo has just REGISTERED!!! Now I need to get my shit in order so I can play for a few days...

To drive up late Weds night or early Thursday morning...that is the question.

Any MTBers heading up for this? Thinking of riding the Monarch Crest shuttle one day if anyone is interested???
