2016 T4r Clock Spring/Spiral Cable where to purchase

:help::help:Mine is bad. Dealerships charging anywhere from 780-815 for the part.
A google search reveals prices from $19 on ebay or up depending on where you get it.
I don't want to do it more than once, the airbag disconnect still scares me a little, but I'm starting to get over it.
Where you would buy one, where have you found luck, etc.?

You can get the OEM part from various online dealers for $500.

I would recommend giving the ebay option a go. Biggest difference is the ebay ones don't come with the steering angle sensor (there is also some obvious overall quality differences in plastics and such) and you have to move your old sensor to the new clock spring.

A word of caution, be very, very sure you get the steering wheel on the splines straight. I got mine off by a spline or two and after about 1/4 mile of driving straight with the wheel clocked to the right, it bricked my steering angle sensor, which I had to replace with OEM for $500. I got mine from Larry Miller Toyota.

Airbags are no big deal. You should disconnect the battery when disconnecting them, but I usually don't. Just be careful of static.

I don't know if it will help you, but in fixing the horn on my 1999 Sienna I had to remove the air bag and clock spring to get to the place where I had to put WD-40 on the steering wheel bearing. There are some cautions etc. but it was not difficult. Make sure to use tape to mark the steering wheel, clock spring, etc. before removing them.
