I was in a 4th Gen 4Runner that had the windshield mounted LED light bar and it made a lot of wind noise. Aerodynamically I think this really isn't the best place for a light. I put my 20" LED light behind the upper grill. I also plan on getting another light mounted on whatever full length roof rack I decide on that has a fairing.

Hey there,
I was also told of the wind noise too. It wouldn't bother me, aside from camping, my commutes are extremely short.
They are actually going to send me a 30" bar now instead of a 50" since they don't make them curved anyhow.
If I can get a company to send me a 50" curved bar for my windshield that would be cool!

Most of the 50" bars mounted on the roof make wind noise. The brackets our company makes are pretty low profile but still does not eliminate the noise. We recently made brackets for a new 4Runner using the Rough Country X5 bars and he told us that it does not make any noise. They are super nice too. To help with wind noise, we recommend our customers by installing rubber stripping to the fins.
All in all the 50" are not for everyone. Every noise that drowns out the noise of Peppa Pig or some other cartoon playing in the back seat does not bother me much.

Rago Fabrication Ditch Light Brackets
Hey there, Just in time for my ditch light install., the Rago Fabrication mounts have arrived! they are black powdercoated rolled steel and made in the USA. I must say they are very attractive and so glad to have them on my truck!
In addition to that I also have the 50" windshield brackets and soon to have the 30" bumper/grille brackets too.

I could really use a switch panel or something being that I will be adding two more LED bars. Either way I need a switch to finish my video install so if you know of a company or if there are any vendors on here, let me know! Thank you!

I watched your videos about the Razir LED low beams as well as the video of the LED vs HID comparison. Can you please post pictures (at night) of the comparison of the cutoff from the low beam projector lense? The video was great, but hard to hreally see details of quality and differences in bulbs.

I ran the Razir LED units in my low beams for a while and found the left projector tossed out great light while the right projector (passenger side) looked pretty anemic.
I also thought the throw was a lot weaker... the whole setup just felt a lot less bright than even the stock halogens.
I'm putting in a Morimoto HID kit this weekend, so we'll see how that goes.
Did you really fit the wiring harness and everything from the Razirs inside the projector housing so you could close the dust cap?

Thats very strange, mine are very bright, you can see the clip i just put on my instagram. They told me to make sure the diodes faced perpendicular to the ground and not parrallel. Could be defective too. I did get a defective fog light but their service is great. Even sent replacement without me sending anything back. Something is def wrong if the halogens look brighter haha. I did not put all inside the weather cap because I Already had holes from the previous HiD kit. I just have electrical tape covering the gap and seems to be working great.

Yeah, their customer service is awesome.
H11 bulbs will only install one way, right? You can't really re-orient them past where they end up when you insert them and twist to lock.

Yes only one way. However it seems they are an extremely tight fit.
So tight in fact that when I removed one, a prong broke off.
I had to really use some force to get it out. It didnt go in so difficult which is strange. Anyhow. HID actually just sent me a whole new kit! So now I have a an extra one and extra ballasts. They just arrived today and they look great!
It could be incorrectly oriented if a person thinks they met its limit due to it being so tight and hard to get in. The fogs and high beams are incredibly easy to install but the low beams take some work.

No they are extremely easy to install!
I figured out why the LEDs are such a tight fit... The heat sink interferes with a support piece inside the chamber they mount in. A little grinding off of part of that heat sink and they fit MUCH better.
