2016 Wheels/TPMS

Threw some 2016 wheels w/ sensors on my 2005 yesterday and the TPMS light is staying on after about 40 miles of hwy driving. Read numerous posts, but no luck. Any ideas?

I would guess the TPMS sensors are not universal.

Different codes between the 5th gen sensors and 4th gen receiver.

I believe they need to be programmed if they weren't transferred over from the tires originally on the vehicle. I know this has to be done if you change a sensor.
