Two diesels a small four-cylinder turbo diesel and the Cummings turbo diesel 6 also available with a stick shift. The max tow package removes the third row seat and it's replaced with a fifth wheel plate. It also includes rear air leveling suspension and of course side exhaust so the diesel fumes don't come in the back window. I'm surprised Your local dealer does not have all this information yet.

2 diesel engines in one car is a little excessive IMO but glad to see the engineers had the foresight to preserve the ambiance that comes with a rolldown rear window. Hope entune comes with Waze or it'll flop.

Yes. It will be a 4.2L V6 turbodiesel which was designed with the assistance of Cummins and Isuzu. Base transmission will be a 6-speed manual and the option will be an 8-speed automatic. All will have a multimode transfer case and rear differential lock. Expect them to be on the lots by late August.

Don't forget the solid front axle that has the optional 3-link suspension! It'll just be on the TRD Pro package though...

The solid axle is supposed to be a TRD kit that the dealer can install for you with a warranty to boot. Only for SR5 and Trail/TRD models. It doesn't work with the Limited's electronic dial transfer case. Totally bolt-in. The axle will be the same unit as found in the 70 series LC with an E-Locker and the brake calipers/rotors from the Tundra.

I also heard about the TRD supercharger that they are going to have for the 4.6 gasoline model. Unfortunately, the gas 4.6 will only have the 8-speed auto transmission.

The base model also makes a return after 15 years. Same engine options but manual windows and door locks with Vinyl seats. No sunroof and steelies with pizza cutter LT rated all terrains.

EDIT: How could I forget! Body mounted spare tire carrier makes a return for the first time since the second gen!
