2017 4Runner Colors (Let's speculate...)

It's really too bad they won't offer Inferno, especially since the Tundra and Tacoma offered it in 16' and the Tacoma at least so far in 17' again. I'll have to see cement in person before I decide. I thought I'd love the quicksand color, but most pictures I saw made it look much darker than it really is, and it person it was just so-so.

The dealer rumors are interesting for sure. I've talked to probably 15 in the last few weeks and I think I've heard every possible rumor on the 2016/2017s. Most of which completely contradict each other and in some cases logic in general.

One dealer told me Toyota would stop making any 2016's at the end of August, so they won't get anymore on the lot until February after September. As if I would believe Toyota would let all their dealers sit around for 4-5 months without getting a single 4runner.

I had another dealer tell me no one will see any 2017 4runners until March best case. Which I guess could be possible but seems to be counter to what quite a few others are reporting.

Funny part is aside those statements neither seemed interested in pushing me into a 16'. Perhaps it was just a way to gauge if they could push me to a 16' on the lot and they could tell by my response I had zero interest.

Dealers can barely figure out what current models come equipped with much less 2017's. Best bet is to wait for a 2017 brochure..

Go to the link and look at the specs. Took my 30 seconds to find that instead of waisting time speculating and wishing. Go nine posts down.

Again. Do you have a reliable source because a post is nothing but speculation if its not from a toyota repeesentative. I think this post has the word speculate in it. Everything on thos lost is speculation. Im sorry if you had to waste 20 seconds of your time to post a reply.

You aren't too bright are you read the TRD spec plaque in the picture. I guess you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. That's not speculation at all, it's fact. Please be more observant and learn to read.

Well, the 2017 press release is official but no confirmation on colors for non TRDP models... Patiently waiting for green

Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure that the colors are listed on the press release on like the 5th page...

Only saw the pro colors which have been known since the Chicago auto show but maybe I missed it...

good call... was looking at the press release, not the product information.
Mods please close this thread, no reason to speculate anymore.
No new colors other than cement for 2017.

I wonder if Inferno would sell.

I think if they ever released the special TRD Pro colors like Inferno, Quicksand, or Cement to the other lines the sales of those colors would kill. A lot are buying the TRD Pro's just for those unique colors so I can see why Toyota reserves them.

Just saw a Prius v in "Toasted Walnut Pearl" up close on a dealer lot...

That would be an awesome color on a 4Runner.

Since I can't start a new thread, I thought I would ask here.

I'll be ordering the '17 TRD Pro in cement. My local dealer (which are pretty big) told me that I can put an order in now. They also said "you'll be the first one in line because no one else asked to put an order in." They also told me that I will be able to put an order in as soon as Toyota provides the options on their website. The manager told me that since it's a very limited production, they will not be able to go under MRSP, but that they will not go over MSRP like other unethical dealers do.

All they request is a small deposit of $250 to get in line. They told me that the 17s won't be available until mid november to december.

I'm located in northern NJ and want to know your opinion. I'm used to buying used and don't know if this is how the process goes for ordering a TRD Pro. Should I go ahead and put a deposit down? What are some questions I can ask the manager? Thanks

Yeah that's normal. I went to three dealers here in the Houston area and all needed a deposit. I went to the largest dealer near me and placed a $500 deposit. My '16 came in a few weeks later.
