2017 NFL Playoffs Thread

Definitely know we have some Cowboy fans here. What about the Falcons? Going to be a tough go this weekend for the Seahawks, but they can do it! I think the GB/Dallas game is going to be the biggest viewed game thus far by a long shot.

Any Texans fans? That's one huge upset that I'd love to see.

Texans fan as a proud houstonian, though for years i was a cowboys fan because they were the only team in TX for a while.

Last i checked we are at 40 to 1 odds to get to the superbowl and 16pt underdogs against the pats. there is a slim to none chance that the texans will make it past the pats. Would it be awesome? YES! is it going to happen? when hell freezes over and pigs fly... lol

I think anytime you've got a stout defense in the NFL, you've got a punchers chance. I'd say the one area where Brady is showing his age and can be exploited are on his deep throws. They seem to sail a bit more. Get your safeties back there and pick 'em off!

I live 200 miles away from any pro team so I don't really have a favorite. I do have teams I dislike though and none of them made it to the playoffs except New England...

I think the Seahawks, Steelers, Cowboys and Patriots win.

well i hope so. i just hope our game is a good game. I mean even if we get past the pats we would have to get past the seahawks. my realist side says it aint happening.

though how sick would an all texas superbowl be in HOUSTON?

I think chiefs, pats, packers, seahawks make it through the weekend.
 
i don't make predictions. any of the 8 teams can win this weekend.

the two teams that i dislike did not make the playoffs.

i hope the games this week are more competitive than last week.

That's because most of us hate you. Lol. I kid. Well, not really. I do hate the Patriots. But for the same reason I would want everyone to hate the Seahawks. They're just so damn good. For every organization like the Browns, I guess there needs to be one like the Patriots. You get rid of one of your best defensive players and you guys have looked better since then. We lose one of ours (Thomas) and our D looks completely different.

Haha it's all good. I'm used to the hate. But I grew up in New England so at least I'm not a bandwagon fan...

For real though. When Belechick and Brady retire, we'll be the next Browns. Just have to enjoy the winning ride while it lasts.

Yep. The 80's and 90's (well, most of the 90's for you guys) were hard on both of us. At least you had a Super Bowl run in the middle there. That was actually the first Super Bowl I watched from beginning to end.

Haha I'm used to the hostility, no worries! I grew up in Maine and hate snow. I support the Rays but I'm a Patriots fan forever. Sorry to disappoint but the day I support the Dolphins or Jaguars will never come.

Edit: Bucs are decent but I'm not a bandwagon fan even though Jameis had a decent season. My chief engineer is a Bucs fan so I do follow them since I get all their games.

Dude, I grew up watching FL football and sometimes (like right now) I completely forget the Jaguars are even a team. :p No shame there.

I have a buddy from Connecticut who can literally see Tropicana field from his condo and he refuses to go to any games unless the BoSox are playing. I get it, it's your team, but man...that's why teams down here always suck because we can never get a loyal fanbase. You go to Wednesday Afternoon Orioles games at the Trop and the entire fan section is orange!

I've been to 2 Orioles games at the Trop, 2 with the Yankees (including Jeter's last game there), and several more with other teams and I always have a blast! It's a fun stadium for sure. Lol but I live for Patriots games... some day they won't be amazing and I'm ready for that. But thanks for not hating on me too bad haha! I really try to not be a typical transplant and I am moving away soon, but at least I'm not 85 years old like the average age for the Florida coast
