a slight understatement, as it turns out. overtime? check. hard to beat that for excitement, no matter who you root for.
the patriot win in the end was a surprise with the half time .. down 25 points and the Atlanta defense doing a great job shutting down Brady / knocking down Brady. prior to the game , My guess was this was going to be a close game all the way to the end. having watched patriots score huge amounts in a very short time , I still thought they had a chance to win.
patriot coaches did a great job during the half time adjusting the game plan .. It was one of the best games I have ever watched ...
after the win I never saw so many guys kissing each other ..
for Brady it was the win , that is sweetest , Brady's balls !
the NFL commissioner will never go to Foxboro LOL...

When the Patriots run twice as many plays as the Falcons, the latter's defense in the 4th quarter is bound to be gassed. Plus the coaches for the Falcon's couldn't play the percentages for situational football.

As much as I dislike the Pats, I have nothing but respect for their sheer willpower and focus in that comeback. And that catch towards the end was ridiculous.
Having said that, I'd be furious if I was a true Atlanta fan. You're 1st and 10 on the 25ish yard line with only a few minutes left. Run the ball 3 times, force a timeout, kick a field goal and go home. Man, my heart breaks for Falcon fans.
Definitely entertaining though, unlike most Super Bowls which I don't even bother to watch for more than a few minutes.

when Seattle lost to pats in the super bowl this was another , why did they pass the ball on the goal line...? Butler a rookie intercepts the 2 foot pass !
looked like Carol gave it away .
Carol is a good coach but , something weird happened with his judgment.
Seattle did a good job beating the pats this year ,that also was a very good game..
patriots do put on a very good game ..

At the end of this game, brady threw a soft floater in the end zone that reminded me of that dreadful Seattle pass. It was almost intercepted as Bennet was falling instead of jumping. If the Falcons intercepted that pass and won, it would forever have been "Brady pulls a Russel Wilson and loses the superbowl" I though. But, it didn't happen and we won PHEW!
