Hate the eagles and the PATS! But would rather see the eagles go down and see Brady make history i guess.

Go Eagles! This year has felt like our year. This team has incredible chemistry, and refuses to give up. No one on the team is all about themselves, they're in it for each other, the team, and their injured teammates who are watching/coaching from the sidelines.
I remember watching the 05 Superbowl when we played the Pats and the cable went out. So we went across the street and asked the neighbor if he had an antenna we could borrow, which he did. So we set up the rabbit ear antennas, but the only channel we could get to come through was broadcasting in Spanish, so we muted the TV and played the English radio broadcast over the muted TV. Hopefully there's a different outcome this time, no cable going out, and an Eagles Superbowl victory!
Another interesting thing, back in December I was in Death Valley, CA. 2,600 miles from Philadelphia. We stopped at Teakettle Junction, to look at the teakettles, and leave a teakettle of our own. I found one that said "Philadelphia Eagles 8-1 Goin to the Superbowl". We left ours there and added "Fly Eagles Fly 11-2" to it. I've got pictures of both teakettles saved to my laptop. That story will be a even better if they get their first Superbowl in a little over a week.

As a lifelong MN sports fan, that was the single greatest moment in Minnesota sports since the Twins won in '91. After the NFC game in '09...it was sweet to upset the Saints. Also, being a lifelong MN sports fan...last Sunday's game proved to be nothing short of predictable. Hate to love them. And now we have to host 2 of my least favorite teams 2 blocks from where I work. Until next season. SKOL!

I have to say watching the Jaguars made me a little nervous, not 28-3 nervous but nervous all the same. I absolutely despise the Eagles. let me be clear I am a Pats fan through and through but I was hoping the Vikings could be able to play a Super Bowl home game, I mean even if they lost, at least they'd have been at home. The only team I have less love for may be the Bills, but it's close. I think we are all pretty sure we know how this story is going to end. Even those of you who hate the Pats, hate them because you know deep down inside they're going to win.

Honestly, I hate the Patriots because of the stuck up cocky fans, and not to mention the bandwagon fans. Tom Brady is also a tool. Same reason I don't like Alabama. The fans are the worst.

Eagles fans are widely regarded as the absolute worst most disgusting humans in the history of the entire world... google it, this isn't just because I happen to agree with the sentiment. Also, Tom Brady is a really genuinely nice person, he literally gives away his salary so that the pats can acquire or keep other players, not to mention the work he does for the community. He is also one of the quietest and most humble professional athletes out there, what is it he's done that would make you call him a tool? win?
In regards to your feelings about Pats fans, well I am perhaps a little too close to that one to be objective. I will say that I watched the super bowl with easily 100+ Falcons fans and they were absolute jerks through most of the game, when things turned around myself as well as the other Patriots fans did not gloat, or give the falcons fans a taste of there own very recently dished out medicine. As it happens I was traveling for the Jaguars game last week and had a similar experience. I was wearing a Patriots hat and caught a lot of lip in the beginning of the game, however when it all turned around, I and the several other patriots fans didn't gloat or act like tools, we just let the win do the talking.

Winning will do that to any team. There's a SMALL part of me wanting the Seahawks to go through a rough patch (But post-Wilson. Don't want his talents to go to waste) just to clear out some of of that mess that we have here.

well lets not forget that the seahawks were also victims of the patriots at the superbowl in Arizona not long ago. I think one of the reasons the pats are so hated by fans is the way they win games. I am 100% sure that Jacksonville was 1000% sure they were going to win last Sunday, and the emotional toll that takes on a fan has got to be tough. I am sure there are still falcons fans in counseling over the superbowl loss. and the Seahawk fans in the stadium were super arrogant and very vocal, one even turning around to sneer at the pats fans behind him... we all know how that ended. "The Butler Did It!"

You're right. Patriots fans are the most holy sacred people to grace this earth. They can literally do no wrong.
I understand that feeling. Wilson is something else, he basically carried the offense this season single-handedly. Even down here a few years ago I noticed Seahawks fans popping out of no where. I can't stand bandwagon fans, you're either with the team through thick and thin, or you aren't a fan. Browns fans are possibly some of the best fans on the planet, 1-31 over 2 seasons, 0-16 parade, all that takes some dedication.

I definitely don't mind winning bringing in new fans, but like you said, it needs to be through thick and thin. We finished 9-7 and considering all of the injuries and ZERO running game (as well as O-line), that to me was amazing. You would have thought we were 2-14 hearing people b*tch around here.
And I was literally just telling a friend of mine that I wanted a shirt that says, "I'm a fan of Browns fans"

I guess I am not a big enough sports fan to follow your logic regarding the browns. I am only 36 so perhaps I am too young but I was born in Massachusetts and fandom largely is geographic, however if your team objectively is terrible I see no reason not to acknowledge it. I am a Virginia Tech fan regarding college sports as I am an alumni and it's not been easy, or as easy as it used to be to be a fan. I am not however irrational or delusional about it. the patriots have struck gold with their coach and line up over the last say 20 years, I guess before that I was just not paying close attention. when I was a kid I remember watching the Celtics, but my father is to this day not really a fan of pro football, so as a kid I just didn't watch it. I am not a fan of baseball as a rule, but I guess if pushed I am a red sox fan, just because of geography though, not because of any real strong feeling. I assume all sports fans are similar but I see you live nowhere near PA and seem to be an Eagles fan so maybe there's something I'm missing.

It's the same thing with all the Bama fans down here. Before they announced the 4 college playoff teams there were Alabama fans literally saying they don't want Alabama in the playoffs because they were afraid of loosing. "What, are you serious?" is all I could think when I heard that. If you're a fan you should want your team in there no matter what.
The Browns are something special. Ben Roethlisberger is the most winning quarterback in Cleveland. That says something, and it's not something good...
Yes I am an Eagles fan, and I always have been. When I was old enough to start watching/caring about football my dad was stationed in Germany with the Army. He is from Pennsylvania, and grew up a Steelers fan, and my only memories of the United States at that point were when we would visit his family in Pennsylvania. I didn't want to be a fan of the same team as him so I chose the other Pennsylvania team, the Eagles. They've been my team since then, regardless of what state I lived in at the time.

why didn't you want to be a fan of the same team as your dad? I have a lot of respect for the Steelers, they're a great team and organization. I grew up as mentioned watching the Celtics with my dad and it certainly made me a fan, I guess being contrary for the sake of being contrary never made any logical sense to me. that would be like being a Yankees fan just to piss off my neighbors and "be different" I am very curious as to why you made this life choice?

Haha cracks me up when people run with a small sample size. You are of an age that you should know better. Just because Boston (New England) has been known for having racist fans, doesn't mean that EVERY BOS/NE fan is racist. Be smart.

it's not my opinion it is the opinion of the entire world, again, GOOGLE IT. the sample size spans decades. literally Eagles Fans Behaving Badly: The Decade-by-Decade History ? Philadelphia Magazine it must be something in the water in the city of brotherly love. the data actually supports it better than any sample size I could have. look at the year over year arrest records for Philly fans. So before you go making a point to help the side you seem to be trying to oppose, sample size, maybe take your own advice.
