2018 NFL Playoffs

it's not my opinion it is the opinion of the entire world, again, GOOGLE IT. the sample size spans decades. literally Eagles Fans Behaving Badly: The Decade-by-Decade History ? Philadelphia Magazine it must be something in the water in the city of brotherly love. the data actually supports it better than any sample size I could have. look at the year over year arrest records for Philly fans. So before you go making a point to help the side you seem to be trying to oppose, sample size, maybe take your own advice.

You use one article that spans several decades haha. Let me start pulling articles of Boston fans being racist and throw blanket on the whole region haha. I guess that is being smart.

We can do this all day haha. Paint a broad picture based on the media and you become close-minded.

dude in this debate, you're toast, just admit defeat and sulk away you have already embarrassed yourself, do you really wanna keep it up? HAHAHAHA you'd be better off owning the position and reveling in it as so many Eagles fans do. everyone from Sports Illustrated to GQ agrees, Eagles fans are the absolute worst... though there are plenty of times Pats fans make the top 5

After the latest racist incidents at Fenway Park, Boston confronts an ugly reputation

none of those... not even 1 have a thing to do with the patriots... you are really bad at this, like you should go take an online class.

Haha I don't see this as a debate. It's easy to blanket a whole fanbase based on the media. Based on the media, I'm the worst kind of fan and you're a racist. That seem fair to you?

it's not a debate because you're so piss poor at it there is only the one side making points. for me to be racist you'd need to know what race I am, also I mentioned earlier I don't really care about baseball. this thread is about football, do we need to explain football to you? the worst fans in the history of worst fans are Eagles fans, hands down without a doubt in this regard you are totally unrivaled, just accept it and move on. defending your horrible fan base by calling me racist doesn't detract away from eagles history, it jut pulls others into the mud with you, which just so you know, doesn't actually improve your positon. HAHAHAHAHA

You take so much glee out of this haha. I'm glad you won my friend. I'm off to embrace my Eagles fandom's history as being the worst ever. Thanks for your enlightenment haha.

Honestly, I hate the Patriots because of the stuck up cocky fans, and not to mention the bandwagon fans. Tom Brady is also a tool. Same reason I don't like Alabama. The fans are the worst.

don't forget the racist fans from boston. another reason to hate them. or not. stuck up, cocky fans. pretty much describes the fanbase of every team in every sport. except philly. philly fans are polite, welcoming, and considerate.

hard to fathom the loathing of brady. he does not disrespect opponents, he is extremely dedicated to improving as a football player, with a singlemindedness that is nearly unmatched in the sport. show some example where he was clearly unprepared for a game, or where he trashed an opponent post-game. when he loses, he is graceful in the post-game presser (unlike, say, cam newton). he does not complain about losing; he does say that he does not like to lose, but he doesn't make excuses for why the patriots lose, when they lose, other than to praise the team that defeated them. oh, that might be why you loathe him; he doesn't provide steeler sound-bytes after a loss. i get it.

are you saying that you'll consider carson wentz a tool if he can even remotely mimic the success of tom brady over the course of his career? if so, i don't believe you.

every successful team has bandwagon fans. yes, even the eagles. why would you even remotely expect it to be different for the patriots? there's a strong possibility that i've been a fan of the red sox longer than you've been alive. does that make me a bandwagon fan of the red sox?

I guess I am not a big enough sports fan to follow your logic regarding the browns.

We're basically saying that it's easy to like a winning team, but hard to like one that has had very little success over the past several decades.

Every fanbase has idiots in it. Especially in a sport that goes so hand in hand with drinking.

I spent a few years in Oakland. Went to a few Raiders games. I'm surprises no one dies there. Lol.

I've disliked him for a long time, but like I said earlier, I'm coming around on him (As well as the franchise as a whole). While I'll never be a fan, there's no way I can discount or not have the upmost respect on what they've been able to accomplish. And if you have a hard time rooting for Brady, dig up his combine film. If you can't root for that guy to become arguably the greatest qb in NFL history, who can you root for?!

there are LEGIONS of redsox fans who would beg to differ. until 2004, most sox fans only knew misery, yet the redsox had a very strong national following (did you know that prior to 2004, it had been 86 years since their last world series victory?). are there now new fans, who didn't follow or experience decades of misery? of course. but if you ask those longtime fans, they liked the redsox, even in the dark days of the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.

That’s my point. That it’s hard to be a dedicated fan when you’ve spent a lot of time dealing with miserable years. Doesn’t mean they’re not tons of them out there for all teams.

I think Raiders fans have their own superlative... not worst fans, most terrifying!!! those guys spend like 4 hours in makeup before the game, and look like something from game of thrones. but hey everyone has their thing right. (and no obviously not every fan does this, not every fan even goes to games.)

it wasn't hard for me to be a fan of the redsox. i still watched or listened to most games, every year, for decades, up until they won the series in 2004. after the sox won that series, i still followed them, and listened to most games. ironically, after their third series win this century, i've listened to far fewer games each season.

there was certainly misery at times. i remember punching a hole in my bedroom wall when the ball went through buckner's legs.

If Foles plays anything like he did against the Vikings, I REALLY like our chances in the SB. And it's would be only fitting that we get a SB when we very least expect it and against the ones who cheated us out of our last chance to get one. Yep, things have been aligning perfectly all year. Patriots are the cherry on top. End of one dynasty and beginning of another. LOVE IT.

E - A - G - L - E - S EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if I'd rather have that happen with there still being hope with another game or a single-play like the Butler INT. Both were very painful for our respective fans.

For me, I just want to see the Mariners in a World Series. Winning would just be icing on the cake. I'll start with the playoffs...

It has been impressive. You guys were left for dead after Wentz went down. If you guys win it all, you'll definitely be the first and only #1 seed to never be a favorite in any of your games and win the Super Bowl. I'm rooting for you!

clearly there's hope. after all, both sox (red and white) and the cubs (giants, too) ended long ws droughts this century. why can't the mariners at least make it to the series someday, right?

Definitely. And Houston gives me a little extra hope too. It was not too long ago that they were one of the teams fighting for the bottom.

In the next year, I'll take Edgar Martinez getting into the HOF over any playoff run.
