Personally not a huge fan because I think it needs more black accents to break up the color a bit. Same thing with the Quicksand PRO. Looks better on the FJC though. Just my .02

Going to *try* for a 17 Cement(thinking this ship has sailed), would be ok if it ends up being an 18 Cavalry... Some 10-13 Black Trail Edition door handles to break up the blue a little bit and it will be sharp.

Agreed, on all 4 of the exclusive colors actually. On their own the colors are pretty overwhelming but with black sliders, black fender flares, black roof rack & ladder, even door handles (Batman would be proud) I personally think they look that muck better.

I did jump on the Cement to avoid the Blue but I think I would have been happy with either. Thanks for the...'photo'.

Got my name down for Cavalry Blue. The photoshop helped but it is still looking better the more and more I imagine it in my head.

Resale Value

As far as resale value, would it be worth getting Cavalry Blue being the exclusive color vs. the Super White color? I'm set on white, but if the resale value is a lot better with the exclusive color I'm willing to change.

Oh boy.... I would touch this, but last time I chimed in I was told to shut my mouth, called out as acting like a 15yr old, etc.... With that being said, actually the "Super White" color will be worth more then the exclusive color because the be all for auto value KBB says so...by $298 or something.:wink2: Would not worry about it, just get whatever color you want. The white looks awesome as well. Good luck!!

Too early to tell, but honestly, just get whichever color you like better. Blue will be a slightly more exclusive but color doesn't dictate price much if any at dealers when you go to trade in. Black isn't a good bet, most enthusiasts stray away from black so private party resale might be a little difficult getting book if you went to sell it private party.

I've got a good feeling 2018 is a wrap for the TRDPro 4R so it will be cool to say you've the only unique color to it's last year if that is the case.

Too many whites out there in 15 16 17 and 18. I would stick with another color. Im a value guy and value always helps me make the decision which is why none of the 3 trd pros ive had were white.

Hey guys Aloha!

I just purchased a 2017 4 x 4 Limited Tacoma yesterday Barcelona Red and put a 5,000.00 on a 2018 Calvary Blue TRD 4 Runner...mandatory deposit to hold one.

Toyotas are really HOT in Hawaii. I was number 37 on the buy list for the TRD 4Runner. Last year less than 50 i was told came in last year . I wanted the Cement color last year. I have been told 2018 WILL be the last year for the truck based 4 Runner... Get them while they are available. Calvary Blue the exclusive color .. Black and White were my choices. My wait I was told 4-6 months... depending what comes in... I know it will be worth the wait.

An exclusive color will likely net you an enthusiast that would want your car. As for the general public, you'd have an easier time selling a neutral colored vehicle i.e. White.

FYI Cowboy Toyota in Dallas has a white pro in stock, or at least they day end of day Saturday. Was just there Saturday and put a deposit on my '17 ORP, gets here this weekend!! Ask for Patrick if you call, was awesome to deal with.

Surely they could come up with a decent green, like a mist green, they're gonna have to give away that blue.
