2018 TRD Pro or Offroad and KDSS question

2018 TRD Offroad is now due to arrive in a few weeks. Any suggestions on Lift Kit or tires good for both on and off road much appreciated.

What colour?

I will say I recently did a 6000 km road trip in my TRD Off Road w/ KDSS. I love the KDSS. I did test drive a couple non-KDSS (SR5 models) before buying and could tell the difference. It was very nice during all the highway driving and cornering.
I also happened to do the entire White Rim Road on this trip. The truck did this no problem bone stock (even the tires). The KDSS was awesome off road. As was the truck in general. Although a few have mentioned the KDSS being harsh on washboard I found it a non-issue. I was aired down to 23 psi which seemed to work great and provide a very smooth ride.
I hope to do a write up on the White Rim adventure.

There are hundreds of threads on the forum already regarding lifts and tires -- I'd suggest doing a search and looking at some of those to get ideas. That's what I did. The "sweet spot" for cost vs. performance vs. ride comfort vs. longevity is different for each person depending on many factors, and there are hundreds of different combinations available.

One solution offering a lot of bang for the buck that you'll see often is Bilstein 5100 shocks with the front lift set at 1.75", and 1" spacers in the rear. Gives a nicely raised stance that alleviates the factory rake and looks good with any size tire. Not for serious off-roading, but does increase front ground clearance a bit.
