2019 Pro, Is this a good price?

Local dealership has a 2019 Pro on the lot, sticker is a bit over $50k. They are asking $47104. Would this be a fair price?

To me I would not buy it at $47,000. I would be buying a 2020 Pro instead. That is not enough off to me. For a little more you can get the 2020. I went from my 17 Pro to 20. But it also has to do how financially you are to spend the extra.

I was kinda thinking the same thing to be honest. I would automatically take a hit once we bought it bc it would now be a 1 yr old used car. I realize they hold their value very well but it would be technically 1 yr old.
 
I’d pass on a 19 for 47k, if memory serves someone here said they recently picked up a 19 for ~44k and a couple 20s have been had for under 50. Be patient, and email any dealership that you’d be willing to get to.

At 44k, we would probably drive that bad boy home. The 20 they had, stickered at $52 and they had it on the website for $50k; I think it was $2600 off total.
 
After having my 17 Pro I really wanted the extras on the 2020 Pro. Big difference in the JBL system compared to the entune system. I like the big audio screen way better. It is like the one in my 19 Z06. Also helped me getting almost what I paid for my 17 Pro. And also the fox suspension has a softer ride than the Bilstein on my 17 Pro. I told my wife this is my last new Pro that why I jumped to the 2020. She laughed. Just a matter of time before Toyota changes the 4runner which I don’t want. But everyone has there own opinion. Good luck on your decision.
 
Unless it’s Voodoo blue and you can get a great deal I’d go for the 2020. What color is it?

VDB is the color we wanted but unfortunately, this one is white.

Good point about the larger screen, that is another reason for the hesitation, we both like the bigger screen more than the one we currently have.

Kinda off topic but the website is listing that gas mileage dropped 1. What is the reason behind that?
 
Too bad it's white. Otherwise I'd say totally worth it. Not sacrificing headroom to a moonroof is a plus, and being able to use a proper key instead of a push-button is an even bigger plus.

You guys and headroom issues must be Giants! I'm 5-10 and have plenty of head room...unless your talking about getting head in an awkward position?
I also happen to like push to start. Different strokes for different folks

I'm 6' 2" and have no clearance issues with the moonroof. Different folks have different torsos/necks I guess.
 
You can do much better and if they won't budge on price, for a white TRD Pro, get a 2020 unless the safety updates aren't something you want.

Since you didn't mention if price is OTD with TTL, I'll assume that this is pre-TTL.

At $50k MSRP, you should be shooting for at least 15% off MSRP being that it's now the new year. We picked up our $51.1k VDB in October for $43.7k before TTL.

At $47,104, the dealer is only giving you slightly under 7% off MSRP which is a joke on a color that can be purchased in any year..

Counter back at $41k and see how motivated they are in moving that particular car. Good luck.
 
2020 comes with the TRD exhaust, rear dual climate controls with USB ports, bigger touch screen, TSS and some other little things. I think they also come with black lugs nuts. The previous years are chrome.

I’d pay little more and get a 2020. That’s just me.

I would also think that a 2020 with the added tech and features would have more resale value over a 2019, besides being different years.
 
That's not enough of a discount imho. I would just get a 2020, the updates are worth it. I almost bought a 2019 in voodoo blue but I'm glad I waited.
