I purchased these, and Discount Tire charged like $75 to install and pair them with the TPMS computer.

I haven't pulled mine out but the pics online look like the OEM part is made by Pacific, PMV-107J. The Denso part number looks to have the Pacific stamp on it as well. Looks like you can save a whole $5 by ordering the Pacific part number.

Not sure if you guys know but the 2019 computer will not read/see the TPS sensors from my 2016 XP 4runner wheels. Turns out the number of digits on the TPS sensors in 2019 have an additional number in there identification string..

I haven't seen mine come on, but I think it's supposed to come on at 75% of the set pressure. So if set for 32, you should see it right around 24PSI.

Thanks for the info. Ordered the Denso 550-0103 from RockAuto. Best price I could find for these. I got 5 so I can put the spare into rotation once I mount up the new wheels.

Would I need to get a service kit in order to change the stem color to black?

I got these on eBay for $64 for a set of four.
Supposedly OEM parts. I am having them installed in my new TRD Pro rims wrapped in General Grabber A/TX on Saturday morning.

Do you really mean new, complete sensors or the sensor rebuild kits? Last time i got tires a costco, the rebuild kits were around $5 each.

On a separate topic. I really hate the TPMS system.

I would assume they have higher volume than a single dealership hence the lower price....

Makes me wonder how much it really cost to produce a single unit; with the mark up on car parts probably less then $20 a piece.,...

I have a 2019 TRD OR, I see 2 different Toyota part numbers listed for TPS fulfillment 42607-35040 and 42607-33022. Anybody know which is correct and what the difference is between the part numbers?

Part numbers can change for the same part. If it is listed at multiple OEM sites, it is “usually” what it is. It should be a 315mhz tpms, unless they changed something.

I need sensors for a second set of wheels for my 2019. Does anyone have any experience with the Huf or Schrader sensors? About $100 for 4 is a bit better than $240 for the Pacific OEM sensors.

How long are TPMS sensors supposed to last? I have a 2006 Tundra and the TPMS is still functional. As I’ll need to replace tires again soon, I’m thinking the TPMS should be addressed at the same time.

I wonder if the 1st gen Tundra And the 4R use the same sensors? I’ll have to look...

Schrader makes a dual frequency sensor that will work with just about every system out there. Both the 315 and 433 MHz. I picked up mine for about 13$ each online (I think it was Ebay, but there are a lot of sellers).
Discount tire has a proprietary freq and reader, so avoid if possible.
