No, no one runs an RTT on that rack because it's dumber than a bag of butts. According to the manual you're not supposed to attach luggage, or anything to it at all.

It's also stamped right on the 'feet' not to exceed 110 lbs making it next to useless. RTT really? Only if you're a Hobbit. I put an ~80lb kayak up there and it made me nervous even on a 10 mile drive. When i removed it for selling, I was surprised it only weighs 26 lbs total, cross bars included.
It's best for holding a couple lawn chairs I think.

This is awesome man! Did it take any modifications or silicon? I've heard the bolts are different, so I'm not sure if that played a factor into the install. Looks great!

No. If you have the rack you can order a kit with the 16 washers you need + the 8 bolts for about $15 from Amazon or Toyota.
The things that cover the feet scratch the clear coat on the roof. I replaced mine with an actual rack 2 weeks ago (after I had the truck for about 18 months), and there are U-shaped scratches at each mount location.

I was looking for this exact information on the internet and couldnt' find anything definitive, so I decided to call Toyota directly, who told me to call my dealer, and eventually got myself into the Parts department and they confirmed that it can hold 300lbs dynamic and 600lbs static, plenty to be able to run an RTT.

I talked with Parts department and they confirmed that the rack system is rated for 300lbs dynamic and 600lbs static. They thought the 110lb max stamp referred to each attachment point. Makes sense since I've seen lots of RTT on this rack before but was definitely confused with the conflicting info

The manual is for the standard luggace rack on the SR5 not for the TRD Pro rack. The TRD Pro rack is rated for 300lbs dynamic and 600lbs static

That's great that the parts counter guy confirmed that, but I don't think you'll ever see anything other than 120 pounds published by Toyota. As far as I'm concerned, any information other than that is hearsay. Which is fine for most purposes.

Do NOT believe the parts department they don't know much, it says right on the leg bracket 110Lb.
i don't know where they pulled those numbers from. but please be safe no matter what you do.

Have to add in, not a fan of the roof rack other than how it looks. Going from a full length Bajarack to the TRD Pro OEM, definitely not kayak friendly. Thinking it will be fine for a paddleboard/Surfboard on short trips.
Anyone pair Dakine pads to the rear of the Pro Roof Rack? Aero's(Had them from another ride) work fine on the main crossbars, but the rear tubes are larger than standard. Curious if anyone has already sized out the Dakine Rounded Rack Pads
