Yeah. I’m a lot older than I look. lol.

Here’s a sound clip from my morning commute. I accelerated from a stop light and got up to maybe 45 or 50. My commute is short and I don’t get on the freeway.

Phone was near my right shoulder (I was holding it up). Windows were up because it was drizzling. Wear headphones and turn the volume up. Otherwise, You won’t hear the exhaust/sound.

Curious, Did you buy without test driving it? Why would you buy a car that disappoints you right when you drive it? Exhaust is an easy fix, but seems like the 4 runner might not have been the car from you.

It looks like Toyota forgot to Photoshop the driver side mirror cap in one of the Venture press photos.

I didn't.....Thinking about upgrading from my 4th gen this year, and two owners have brought up this issue with their new '20 Pro's. I've got 17 years of 4runner experience, and I don't just rush out and buy something. Thanks for your concern though.

I agree with this 100%. The Morimoto headlight is pretty slick, but at $1200...ouch...



I'll probably put these bulbs and their matching fog lights in my ORP when it arrives.

You added an extra zero. They’re $120, not $1200.

The only thing I'd want is to somehow retrofit the new 8" infotainment system with android auto into our existing 5th gens. I'm so over Entune.

This is exactly what I'm interested in, I've only got 40K miles on my '16 Trail edition, and won't be driving it much over the next couple of years. I'd love to upgrade the head unit though, and finally get CarPlay.

Do you think the head unit might also need the new harness, necessitating the new cluster? Apparently the electronics and wiring changed drastically with this revision, even though everything looks identical on the outside. For example, the anytime backup camera kit is no longer compatible due to the changes.

Those of us with a 2020, what’s your thoughts on aftermarket bumper compatibility with TSS-P? I’m wondering where the front sensor (or “lunch box” as it has been affectionately described) is mounted and if a bull bar would clear it. I’m specifically interested in the [MENTION=131444]C4 Fabrication[/MENTION] lo pro bumper. The full height bull bar might clear the sensor, but what about the mounting points for the sensor? Is cutting of the OEM bumper still an option? Anyone with a 2020, please post close-up pictures of the sensor and how it’s mounted or where wires are routed, if you can easily see that. TIA!
