^Bingo, the 4runner is not a 60's muscle car and I have to laugh at those that expect it to sound like one. Its a V6 and from multiple make cars/trucks most are never happy. That said I feel the TRD exhaust is the perfect sound for the 4runner. not to harsh, just right imo.
Don't let the comments scare you, one guy (maybe more) has come back to take back the comments saying after logging miles it sounded better. People that say it sounds like shit I'm almost positive have not heard the other options like Borla, Gibson and others. Guy at work drove mine, dumped his magaflow system and got the TRD. Maybe what people are hearing here is a new engine/ new exhaust not yet broken in? As mentioned I have zero drone on my 19 and think it gives just the right tone to may this old coot happy. I've got the TRD intake coming by Monday so hope to get little more rumble sound, will see

Damn that sucks. Mine supposedly hit the port the same day, and I am getting it in a few hours. I will let you know about the exhaust, but I have nothing to compare it to. We currently have a 2008 H3 Alpha and 2011 Grand Cherokee Limited. Both have V8s. Might have to ask my neighbors. One has a 2010 Limited and the other has a 2018 SR5. Three 4Runner houses in a row in my neighborhood!

I agree with [MENTION=137464]LockeLamora[/MENTION] …. I wish I took video or recorded it. Perhaps one of the owners can. To me it just sounds like an annoying gargle that pops up anytime the RPMs hit near 3k which is more than you might think freeway in traffic. It kept distracting me actually while I was testing the adaptive cruise. To me it is just plain silly to have it make this gargle noise while accelerating at freeway speeds with what we all know is zero guts behind the laggy pedal response. If I were commuting or on road trip with this would drive me nuts.

Picked it up this morning. I will let you know driving impressions once I actually drive it haha. My wife drove it home who was on cloud 9, while I got to drive the old car (08 Hummer H3 Alpha with 299.5K) back. This stole its spot in the garage. I will say the color got tons of compliments from people and customers at the dealership. It looks best in its natural habitat - outside, under natural lighting.

Quick question—did you buy the rubber cargo mat in your last picture as an option? Or as an aftermarket purchase from Toyota? I specifically went without the sliding cargo tray in mine after having it and not really liking it on my last TRDP. So I’m looking at option for some type of protective mat and like the looks of the one in your photo—especially if it’s OEM. Ca you tell me anything about it?

There is no metallic in the Army Green. We went without rear sliding cargo tray and ordered a rubber mat from Toyota to protect the cargo area. TRD PRO comes with rubber mats for passenger area.
I guess it would be more accurate for me to have said—just for me, personally—that the sliding cargo tray literally provided zero benefit or use. So it’s an installed option that costs a few hundred bucks with absolutely no purpose—again, just speaking from my own personal perspective and experience. I never found any occasion where I was glad that I had it or appreciated it from a functional standpoint. I also just prefer the cleaner look (and actual ease of cleaning) of the base cargo area without the tray.
So after some discussion with the wife and seeing the actual pictures of the pro runner, I decided it wasn’t for me. Just picked up a 2020 MGM TRD Off-Road instead. That being said, if anyone in the Nashville area is looking for a PRO Beaman Toyota will have one sometime between the 18th to the 23rd and they will take MSRP for it. At least that is what they told me.

Congrats on the ORP, I’ve been going back and forth between the 2 myself. Do you mind sharing what you got the ORP for and how do you like it so far?
Yeah, I finally decided the extras you get with the PRO were just nice to haves and the stuff that I want I can do on my own cheaper. Plus, I like the MGM better than the army green, that is just my opinion though.
I don’t mind sharing what I paid, although it wasn’t a great deal I am sure, but, I am happy with it. I know there was someone in another thread that said they got $4k under MSRP. We paid MSRP though $44,500 and some change. Included predator steps which I will be selling, moonroof, and roof rack.
So far I like it, but, literally just got it. I will need a week or so of driving it around to get a real feel for it. This is my first 4Runner so I don’t really have anything to compare it to.
I'm assuming with that price it has KDSS? Can't recall if you've mentioned owning a previous 4Runner but just curious of your thoughts on it.
I've had with and without KDSS 4Runners and I really enjoy it for preventing body roll in "sporty" turning scenarios.
