I had xpel on entire front along with door cups, tint and blackout on the back symbol and letters. Next mod is probably going to be a Canvasback cargo liner.

I’ve had a deposit down since April with a decent sized dealer over here and haven’t had a VIN assigned yet and I’m #1 on the list. The regional inventory person was at the dealer updating the sales manager a month ago and was told they have no updates on any AG allotments. I check their website every couple days to see if I’m being fed a bunch of bull but so far they haven’t had any AG issued to them. I think the northwest in general has been shorted.
Picked up last night. Originally I was given the date of the 28th, but it fell off the truck yesterday with 4 miles on the odometer. From what I understand the port is somewhat of a black box and delivery is random. I know this has been in Portland port for a while, since the end of September. Well worth the wait!
Very happy with the experience, Toyota of Kirkland was easy to work with, straight forward, and didn't jack the price. Would recommend.
Haven't been this stoked about a purchase in a really long time. Zero regrets. Lots of improvements over my 2016 SR5.
I will say the exhaust will be a negative to some. The drone reminds me of the Gibson catback I put on my old Explorer back in the day. It's not quiet. Honestly, had I purchased the catback aftermarket, I'd expect it to be worth a few midlife crisis comments. Still, it sounds good and I'm keeping it.

Congrats on your new 4Runner!
I've had mine for a month and have driven 700 miles so far. When I first got it and drove it 45 miles home from Mount Vernon, the sound was definitely noticeable. It also annoyed me during my daily commute (only 6.5 miles one way and don't really get up to freeway speeds).
After a few weeks, maybe around 400 or 500 miles, the sound seemed to be more mild and less noticeable. And really only noticeable when accelerating faster than normal. My wife and kids don't notice it unless I bring it up to them. I do however, tend to drive more conservatively (not mashing on the accellerator around town). We drove up to Bellingham a couple weeks ago (80 miles/160 round trip) and I wasn't bothered by it at all.

HID's are BPS lighting.. I was looking at Morimotos, but they were double the price. Hoping I dont regret the decision.
Interior LEDs are all from Amazon, I went with these ones which I have had good luck with in my old GX470.

Intake is likely more of a noise maker.. and it wasnt that expensive when ordered via individual parts. If there is a gain great, if not no big loss.

I actually got offered to pick one up late last night. They said someone was buying it today but since they never put a deposit down they offered it if I came in. They wanted 7k markup putting it at about $59000. Couldn’t do it..

PSA: For anyone that plans on taking off the front bumper for any reason, there are 3 new screws and a plug you need to remove due to the TSS sensor box. They are located on an L-shaped bracket, attaching the sensor box to the frame (don't remove the sensor box from the grille!). I haven't had any calibration issues after removing it and putting it back on, for those who might've heard the rumor about moving the sensor at all requiring a full recalibration. Also of note, the rear bumper has an extra screw on either side underneath by the spare tire that needs to be removed if you plan on detaching the rear bumper for whatever reason.
Also thought I'd add this in here, dropped by the dealer yesterday and they said they just had a dealer meeting on the 2021 lineup, and they said every model will have a hybrid powertrain next year, including the 4runner. Also, they're finally going to be bringing the pro colors to non-pro 4Runners a la the Tacoma next year as well.

Most dealers still don't know anything about the 2020 models. I highly doubt they have any information at all about the 2021 models.

This would be a game changer... I know a hybrid model is not what a lot of people are looking for here but for me if the 4Runner gains much better fuel economy it would complete the perfect vehicle for me. In addition the cement color has always been my favorite but have deciding to go with AG because of all the updates instead buying a used cement.... of course at this point it’s hard to tell how reliable that info is and probably foolish to hold off another entire year on that basis. Thanks for making this decision even more complicated haha

This is my thought as well. 2-3 months ago my dealer couldn’t tell me anything about the 2020. However, I know rumors can leak and it would be strange if they were just making that up with zero basis behind it, especially since it is against there best interest to get people hyped for 2021 when their job is to still sell 19s and 20s
I've brought it up previously, but it's especially hilariously ironic when the "I dOn'T cArE aBoUt nO fUeL eCoNoMy eNvIroNmEntAlIsT nAnNy!" crowd shows up while simultaneously carrying a bumper's worth of extra fuel cans so they can go "overlanding".
Who knows when it'll actually happen, but hybrid or other tech is eventually going to be the only way these big beastly vehicles survive into the future and I personally am looking forward to it. Allow me to have my 4Runner with decent gas mileage AND actual interesting colors? **** yes.

Yeah, it surprised me as well, since dealers typically respond with "we don't know anything yet" as opposed to saying that they just had a meeting with the Toyota rep about XYZ. They're usually not the first ones to speculate or spread rumors about future model year changes... that's what we're here for!
Say what they will, I would be totally down for an eTorque-like starter engine like FCA has in their vehicles (let's not get started about their reliability, but this tech is pretty dope). I don't even consider that a hybrid, but its marketed as a "mild-hybrid". I would think on the 4Runner the savings would be considerable to have that kind of system, since it negates idle and off-the-line fuel consumption. If its tested and rugged, I'll take it... maybe we'll even see a new tranny mated to it?!

It was an SR5, but yeah, traded it in.
