No..... it won’t work. You would need some kind of relay like no-leds on a h4 led bulb.
the bi Leds are actually weak Bc it uses the same lowbeam led but raises it tad up. Go on you tube and look.
You will get significantly better output with the sr5/trd off road led headlights by using an affernarket led bulb inside the high beam housing
Understood. The LED low beams are great. The high beams are actually perfectly fine. The whiny ***** in me doesn’t like the mid matched color temperatures!! Lol. What are some good recommendations for high beam bulb replacement? Nothing in the blue spectrum!!!!!

No. The Pro/Limited headlights use the 9005 bulbs only as DRLs. There's no circuitry that even goes to them for high beam use anymore.
You would have to splice the power and signal wires to actuate the projector solenoid and send power to the halogen simultaneous. I've done this on my bi-Xenon retrofiit, so it's possible on these. Without having a set to look at, I can't say with certainty, but I would look for a splitter that accomplishes this.
This is awesome news. Do you know how or where I can get one of these? Or what would possibly be needed to make it work?

If you are on the East Coast, I would recommend reaching out to the guys at Ligthwerkz, West Coast - Kustom54 has been very responsive. Again, since I don't have the 21 bi-LED, I can't confirm there is a tailor-made solution readily available, but the principles shouldn't differ from the way I have my retrofit set up.

Be careful. The DRL circuit no longer uses PWM to dim, it's most likely voltage reduction. So adding high beams will be different than on older trucks.

I'm on the list for a set of these whenever they come available, but I have to say... there's a chance I might jump to a 2021 before then.
I was chatting with my dealer this weekend and used 4Runner prices are so high right now - especially Limited - because of a shortage, that they're willing to give me almost what I paid for my 2019 Limited, and flip me into a new one.
I've been happy with my HIDs but am excited to see the OEM LEDs whether it's in a 2021 or a set of the retrofitted 2021s on my 2019. Haha.

We haven't firmed up numbers yet exactly, but the quote was, "Trade in value right now would be pretty close to what you paid for yours new a year and a half ago."

I can confirm this,I had NO intention of buying a new '21, but the more I looked, the more I saw crazy resale numbers. It just made more sense to buy new.
which models do not have LED low beams? i thought they all did for 21?!?!

Yes.... for the Highbeams, you can use any 9005 like I did.

Beaver Toyota. I was able to low ball them for a brand new TRd off-road Prem (non kdss) with a full predator package for $38,500 before taxes.
