2024 fob

Just picked up my new (used) 2024 TRD ORP. Would like another FOB, see them online for about $80

(2021-2024 Toyota 4Runner OEM Key Fob HYQ14FLA)

Is this a good deal and how do I get it programmed. I assume there are better options than dealer.

the real cost is in the totoya labour they charge you to program the FOB with techstream (I think techstream)

I just ordered a spare FOB for $90 (oem). A local locksmith said they would program it and cut the key for $250. The parts guy at my local dealer says they won't do it. He then confided every Tuesday morning they have a locksmith come by to do their used cars, and recommended I drop by then. We'll see...
