22R-E 4-cylinder engine removed from 1989 2-wheel drive Toyota pick up truck with 150,000 miles.
Truck was wrecked in front end, but driveable. We drove the truck around to
verify its mechanical condition before removing the engine.
We purchased this truck at an auction to use the engine in another vehicle.
After driving the truck and realizing it was in great mechanical shape, we considered repairing it and finding another engine.
After further consideration, we decided there was too much damage and rust to be worth repairing it.
We have now decided we don't have time to complete the project the engine was originally purchased for, a 1987 4Runner.
So, we've decided to sell the engine and the 4Runner.
This engine was in excellent running condition when removed.
The matching original automatic transmission, also in excellent operating condition when removed, is also available.
