22R Failing Smog/Emissions

Hey everyone,

I have a 1984 wheeler registered in Nevada and I need to get it to pass California smog before I sell it. Also, it costs over $70 to test it so it would be best to minimize failures!

Anyway, here is where it failed. I know potato about carburetors so it might help to explain it like I am 5.

im having the same exact problem with my 3rd gen 4runnr and techs and everyone say keep driving and hey will reset but i have been and still nothing ! i know the feeing brotha . and im driving on expired tags

You have a carbureted 3rd gen?

J/K, smog is a PITA because you have to pay to see if your repair worked. Especially in CA!
