22re is sputtering? thoughts?

Okay I am cheating. I have a 3rd gen T4R, but my daily driver is a 1990 toyota pickup with a 22re. I posted in the "other toyotas" section, but I doubt it will see as much traffic.

Don't the "classic" T4R's have a 22re? Please go to this thread and give me advice.
