22re question

hey guys my trucks acting werid every so often my truck will bogg out usually on first start up and after red lights let out the clutch super slow trucks reealy sluggish then ill romp on the gas and after a few seconds it cleans out and truck drives fine again itll do it every so often more latey tho or when its cold out


2nd qeustion is jump in truck sitting all night for school click so i commpression start it down my drive way and go to school no problems rest of day go to store around 9 at night it does it again and so i start to compression start it and hit the key a after trying a few times click click click then all of a sudden it fires with the key its done this a few times lately brand new battery new altanator old starter

3rd thing would puting a switch on my fuel pump so it wont work in less i personaly want it to be bad on my injectors my mom the previous owner messed up the ey so i can start it with a screw driver almost, and all my friend think its funny when the tops off to move my truck around in the parking lot at school and my neighbor has stolen it twice so id like to be the only one who knows how to start it iam the only person who drives it

Your sluggishness sounds like what my 86 did when i changed the head gasket. A local shop told me that it was just loose deposits breaking free and just needed run hard for a bit(probably not great advice). Sounds like a starter problem. Instead of putting a switch on the fuel pump you could put one put one on the battery.

i got a main battery cut off switch but that messes with the stero equiment and makes the starting problem worse

just put the switch between your battery and starter. It makes it a pain to start having to pop your hood to flip your switch. but it will keep people from moving it.
