Hello everying,
I just posted about toyotatruckparts add.
What are the odds I can buy their reman heads ($250 each = $500), Install them on the 230,000 mile lower end and and drive away?
Of course I would tear the old heads off first and inspect the boar the pistons
The thing is a have 5 to 6 hundred but not $2000 for an engine.
The truck is knocking on the top end pass side and spewing white smoke.
Called dealer and the HG were replaced under the Recall.
I drove it around the yard and seems to be strong just knocking...
No visable water in oil or vise versa...
Truck has very few minor dents and leather int, all power window work encluding sun roof.
Please, any thought would help.
