231mm or 199mm Tundra upgrade

I did the 199mm upgrade from Brakemotive on eBay. Quality stuff and awesome service. They got me a replacement caliper quick when there was a void in teh casting on one. Anyway, I didn't have to grind or move anything and the truck stops on a dime with 33s. I think it ends up being like $200 with the core refund too.

199mm for Daily Driving

I pondered this for a whole year and went with the 199mm for the fact that a few members had issues with ABS with the 231mm's (not everyone has issues). Wouldn't even make cutting dust shield a consideration as it is kind of pointless. I sort of daily drive my 02 and live in MD so I wanted to have the peace of mind that ABS would always work. After having the 199mm's for a whole year zero issues with ABS and also zero "warping" thank god. If it is not a daily driver and you aren't at all worried about ABS go 231mm as they are better performance and supposed to be a more reliable updated caliper per tundra talks. No bash to 231mm owners but having the peace of mind when braking on snow and ice is good for me considering there have been reported issues.
