245/75/16 vs 245/70/16

Hey everyone,

I'm looking at two sets of tires, one set of blizzaks (70) and one set of Nokians hakkas (75). They're both used with good tread but the blizzaks are already mounted on rims that actually fit.

I want to get the blizzaks, but am wondering if the smaller sidewall is anything to worry about. I want a narrower tire for the winter, and don't do any real off roading.

They're also rated R107. Any issues with the 107 load? Most tires I've seen are 112 so that seems weak.

Narrow tire works for snow when its deep and on dirt. On the road you want as much contact area as possible.

Unless your planning on loading the crap out of your rig. You should be solid

Narrow tire works for snow when its deep and on dirt. On the road you want as much contact area as possible.

Mainly if you're drag racing or rally racing lol. At normal driving there's not much need when it comes to 5-10 mm
