$2500 for rolled 4runner (parts), 80k, Manual 4x4

Toyota 4Runner parts car.

Just saw this on Craigslist in the Seattle area.

Manual transmission, 80,000 miles. Not sure if it's a limited or not. Waiting for an email back.

"Have a 2000 Toyota 4runner that was rolled on grass. It was checked out at the shop and everything is great besides the body damage. I won't part it out but rather sell the car as a whole. I didn't go through insurance on the vehicle so I still have the clean title. The car only has around 80k original miles on It. It's a manual transmission with 4wd."


I don't have $2500 right now but maybe someone does. Or maybe a couple guys want to go in on it together for various parts??

Unlikely that it is a Limited, unless the previous owner did a manual transmission swap.

Ugh... I saw that. Looks like it was nice before he destroyed it. Sounds like he is OK, but man, I am looking for pretty much this vehicle, and he killed one of the good ones. : (

I am sure there is a story behind this one.

I just don't believe the miles .

Salvage title has no mileage law protections , at least that is my understanding.

So he could straight up lie about the rolled back mileage and I don't believe it would be a crime.

A salvage is just a salvage. No exceptions.

The damage to the roof and body doesn't look bad at all for a roll over. I rolled my previous 4runner on some pretty soft mud and it was much much worse than that.

$2500 honestly seems pretty steep for the amount of work it'll take to get all the useful parts off of it. I'd also do a carfax to verify miles.

If I were looking for a body/frame swap candidate, I would shoot for $1500.
