Second post! Will eventually do a build thread, t4r has been a great resource. Anyway, I'm about to get new tires - 265/75r16 duratracs - and am planning to get new wheels to clear 231mm tundra brakes. But first I'd like to see some pics of 265/75s on 8.5" rims. Anyone running that setup?

No doubt they will have a wider appearance (than a 7" rim). I am running 265/75/16 on 8" Land Cruiser rims, and I really like the look.
Make sure your backspacing on the rims are correct though. Should be between 4.25 and 3.25. (3.25 will stick them out further).

Thanks guys. I know they will look similar and would prefer to put them on the stock 7" rims, but if I'm going to do the Tundra brakes I don't want to put on the 199mm calipers and I have the split 3 spokes. The wheels I'm looking at have 4.5" backspacing, so similar to stock, so I'm thinking that my tires will stick out about 2" further than they do now (1.5" from extra wheel + 0.5" more tire).
