275/70/17 BFG K02 Flat Spotting?

I also have a 2017 TRD OR w/ kdss and run BFG KO2 275/70/17 with about 5,500 miles on them. At first I would get a bad vibration in the front between 50-65 mph and in the back over 70 mph.

I recently had them rotated by the dealership and have not had a problem since. I've been meaning to call them and see if they balanced the tires too.

Not sure this helps much, but may be worth taking to a tire shop to have look at it.

bfg's can be notoriously difficult to balance. I didn't have any problems with mine, but my buddy's 4runner did, and had to be rebalanced 3 times, with no luck. He then had to pay extra at another alignment shop just so he can roadforce balance it. That fixed his problems, but his rims have so many lead weights on it, its almost comical to look at them.

Moral of the story: buying tires online is a gamble, because returning them for warrantee work is a HUGE hassle.....

P.S. I love my ko2s, but If i had to go through what my buddy did, I probably wouldn't think so highly of them.

I just noticed that my wife's second lug from the outside on her 265s are flat spotting on about every other lug. I've seen that issue on the outside lugs before, but never in this location...we were really good about rotating for the first 40k or so, then I had a lot of stuff going on in my weekends with family and house projects and I missed the next rotation for about 10K...did I ruin these things? She won't be mad if we "have" to upgrade her to 33s haha, but I was hoping we could wait it out as there is still a decent amount of tread depth.

What you see is cupping beginning to start. Rotate now and you will be fine.

Flat spotting is an actual flat spot on the whole bottom of the tires, caused by sitting and it usually goes away in a few miles of driving. Bias ply tires like many super swampers are notorious for this.
