285/70-17 bfg ta ko w/ 50% tread on stock suspension?

I have a chance to pick up this used set for pretty cheap. I've been running 265/70-17 bfg tau ko for 60k miles and they need to be replaced. They only rubbed at full lock in reverse. Will I have issues with the 285's even though they have only 50% tread?

You would definitely need wheel spacers and a lift...and still may need to trim some.

Worn or not, the 285's will rub. I just bought GY Duratracs in 285/70-17 and I have my 5100's set at the top level (2.25" lift) and I still have more trimming to do. I run spacers as well. I love the tires though, they look sick and perform awesome in the snow. Can't wait to wheel them this summer.

I wonder if I will have to trim when i get 285 duratracs w/ spacers. I have the toytec 3" lift w/ uca

You might have to a little, or at least move forward the front fender liner and remove the mud flaps.
