285/70s on stock sr5 wheels

Anyone running cooper st maxx 285/70s on stock sr5 wheels

I ran 285/70 Cooper STT's on stock 17" sport rims for over a year with no problem. You will need to invest in 1.25" Spidertrax wheel spacers though as the offset of the stock wheels doesn't allow enough space between your UCA and the inner tread of the tire.

^^^^ Hey OP, the above post is a guy in a 4th Gen...I haven't known of anyone's 285's requiring wheel spacers in a 5th Gen

My bad - didn't realize you have a 5th Gen.

The stock wheels are too narrow. You will be out of the "safe" width recommendation.
