Can I run 285/75R16s on a 3rd gen with SS 1.2 lift? (Just the lift, no spacers or other mods)

you'd have a hard time getting them all to lay flat side by side, but if you stack them two by two they'll fit no problem. I wouldn't recommend this without a good roof rack from Gobi however. Also, with the Sonoran 1.2 you might need a step ladder.

As long as the 1.2 kit is at least 3 inches of height, I don't see why not. You may end up having trouble with rubbing on your UCA's (I wouldn't know, I've had 1.25" spacers since before I moved up to 285s) but spacers can solve that no problem.

Yes, but may rub on fender flare or fender liner. I don't get any rub on flat ground, but going up or down inclines and turning will rub.
