285's installed with pics!!!!

Your truck looks amazing. I want Nitto's when (and if) my Michelins ever wear out. I have a Cornfed 3/2 lift. How big can tires get without rubbing or trimming? By the way, I also have Spidertrax 1.25" spacers.

You should be able to fit them but would have to trim quite a bit, or you could add a body lift also for fairly cheap.

Edit: thank you for the compliment, I honestly never intended on going more than leveling it out in the front.......obviously that plan changed lol.

They don't list a P rated 285/70R17 on the Nitto website for Terra Grapplers, always thought that size was a LT only.

I highlighted it from their page in that pic, also it says p285 on the side of my tire......

I thought so too until I looked at their website and did some research here.

Ok......

The p's are better suited for our trucks and I really didn't want it to ride like a skateboard.

LoL, like I said, they seem sturdier, doesn't mean they are. Honestly though, they don't ride that much rougher than the Dunlop AT20 Grandtreks I had and I run both at 36psi without any problems. The only noticable change is that you can feel the effect of the wider tire width, and a change in pitch at high speeds.

I took a art-ish photo to be like you. Here you go... I wanted to get closer to the truck, but their was too many nails

Wow your truck looks real clean. I had P285/70/17 Nitto TG's on my 06 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L a few years ago. The Jeep also had full time 4WD, like my v8 T4R and I found the P rated tire wore a bit faster than I would have liked. I am not sure if this was due to 4WD, the fact that I would fly with the HEMI under the hood, or the soft tire. I have always considered Nittos to be a softer tire as well, which would lead me to the LT if I were ever to get another set of them. Personally, I wasn't that impressed when I had them and consider them to be an inferior tire to BFGoodrich A/T or Goodyear Duratrac, just my own $0.02. Once I install my lift this spring I am planning on getting some Duratrac's but this is still up in the air.

Hell ya! Good pic! Cool back ground too.

Find anyone to put that body lift on?

Yeah $500-600.. I can't wheel these tires. I'll put the fj wheels on to off road. There's a train in town also, I'm going to do some more copy cat-ing.

P.s. these are the best I can do with a cell phone

Sorry for the late response, I actually custom made it with the help of a buddy. I can send you some more pics if you'd like.
