My first offroad was a 1998 grand cherokee overland with a 2" lift and bfg AT. It was fun visiting the few OHVs around. That was a long time ago, and been getting the itch to have fun again.
I'm in the market for a 4runner, probably 2011 or 2012, unsure as of yet.
My question is, is the trail (very hard to find by the way) the only 4runner with rear lock?
Is the rear lock necessary for light offroading? I won't be doing any slow crawls over large rocks o anything, but maybe cross some creeks and light trails, maybe even some mud.
Or would a sr5 do all that?
Jeep grand cherokee was plenty of fun, will a sr5 do the same that 98 GC will?
