2nd 8000 km Road trip for my 2012 ltd. to Mexico

Hello all, I have been surfing this site for a while, owned my 4Runner for a year and a half. I purchased my vehicle specifically for this trip knowing every other vehicle in Mexico is a 4runner so a whole nation couldn' t be wrong.

This January past I drove from Toronto Canada to Los Cabos Mexico in 6 and a half days camping inside it. I am leaving this Monday to do the distance again for the whole winter. The first time the truck drove like a dream, even on Highway One, Mx. This time I plan on taking Route 66 rather than the interstate.

The main Thing I learned on first trip:Not every beach is drivable for a stock Ltd.
( one back hoe, 4 friendly Mexicans, a case of beer, one beach with a new trench, and a $150 kinda story).

Wow, now that's a road trip. Cabo is probably our most-visited vacation place. Never occurred to me to drive tho. Beautiful place. Ever go to San Jose? We like it too. Subscribed.

Yes San Jose is just 15 minutes east on Highway one.

Looking back I should have taken some pics of the Sea of Cortez three feet from my door panels not knowing if it was low or high tide. It was dark and I was pretty distraught at the time. I was coming up with what lie I would tell my insurance.
