Ive looked at many nice v6 runners here but held out for one with a 22re

Wow. If ever sell my rig, I'm listing it in Vancouver!
There is a prime example of a "clean" Vancouver vehicle:
1)suspension sagging collapsed in rear, in need of complete rebuild
2)brake fluid , black (ie last flushed at the Toyota factory)
3)"new breaks" = installed the cheapest "made in china" front pads, has warped rotors but does not want to pay for replacement
4)Notice the coolant crust around the top of the rad, probably due. Rads are cheap in BC, last quote I got from a Duncan Dealer was over $1100CA.
A check through ICBC history might be interesting on that one. I'll bet the drive line mounts are shot and the fluids have never been done in the last 10 years. If it was accident free, you would still need to put at least 2k in parts and service to get it up to snuff. Vehicles here have low kms, but lead hard lives. I recently purchased a used bmw for a family member that had half the kms on it(from the original owner) and I've put 4k in parts(fuel system, cooling system, etc..) into it. The same is just as true for Toyota's here, don't be fooled.

stay away from buying at a stealership man, i went to a car auction in my area, and ended up getting a 94 4runner thats runs perfect for $2200 bucks. your getting ripped off highly. you should be able to find alot on craigslist for 3000 or so in the same condition as those. be careful at an auction though, make sure you know what to look for. just my 2 cents.
