Hey Dudes,

If your 3.0 engine took a dump on you or you're just tired of that underpowered engine, dropping in a 3.4 engine might be something you're interested in doing.

Do you have any videos or advice on doing the swap from a 3.0 to 3.4 with a JDM engine?

This has been an extremely popular swap for a decade or so.
There's tons of info and how to's on the web.

Including what parts on the JDM motor will, or will not work? I have found a lot of good info on the swap itself, just some conflicting info when it comes to the JDM motor.

Sorry I don't. The JDM route is a serious crap shoot. You have no idea what quality of engine you're getting. They can tell you the engine only has 80k on it but how do you know they're not lying? The answer is you don't. You could spend a ton of time swapping in a JDM engine just to find out it's a total piece of crap. I'd never go that route unless I was desperate.

Im looking for some info on 3.4 swap for a 3.0 I have a manual 3.0 currently and want to put a 3.4 in and have a donor vehicle for it.

The donor is 2wd auto though, and I wanted to know if i can use that ECU for the swap or if I need to get another ECU for it that had a manual transmission originally
