2nd Gen 4runner in Helicopter

Here are some pics I took on a training exercise I was on. The helicopter is a USMC CH-53. Thought some of your 3rd gen 4runner fans would enjoy!

Wrong gen, but the early second gens with the tire carrier and OEM brush guard just look so perfect in an early 90's type of way.

Yes the 4runner was loaded and unloaded while the helicopter was spinning. These helicopters are designed for this kind of thing, so it's nothing crazy. It's just unique because usually it is a military vehicle. Thought you all would appreciate this.

It's actually really common to unload them with everything still turning. It takes a while to shut them down completely, and you can't sit on a hot landing zone waiting on turbine temperatures to drop while people are shooting at you.

If you'll notice the sign above the ramp that says "TURN LEFT"....you don't want to ignore that one. I've never driven out of one, but I've ran out of them a couple of dozen times.
