2nd gen map light removal

I've done my due diligence in searching the forum for a solution to my problem. I've mainly found solutions to 3rd Gen and up, but none for 2nd Gen.

I recently decided to replace my dome lights in my 2nd Gen to SMD LEDs.
Now for my problem. How do I remove the map light bulbs? There is a cover piece between the light console and the rear view mirror arm. After removing the cover piece, I can see two screws on both sides of the arm, but no direct way to get a screwdriver to unscrew them. What is the correct way to remove the map dome console without possibly breaking the plastic or the lenses?

FWIW, the Rear Dome is a 36mm length Festoon bulb, and the Center Dome is a 31mm Festoon bulb. The Front Door courtesy lights with the red lenses are 36mm. I will post the bulb size of the map lights once I get it open.

It's been forever but IIRC you can pop off the whole plastic part besides the mirror by shoving a flat screwdriver between the plastic and the headliner. The lenses are a part of the whole plastic assembly. Once you have it off, changing the bulbs is easy.

I tried that, but it won't budge. I can't get a thin flat head between the headliner and the bezel. Any other techniques?

I've figured it out after looking at a similar assembly on ebay. First remove the center piece. Then stick a screw driver from the front and push against back side inside of the bezel. The hold tabs are about half from the center of the bezel to the end. Once you unlock both sides the bezel comes off. Attached is the picture I used to figure it out. If your rear view mirror is loose, now is a good time to fix it.

Also the bulbs are 31mm Festoon.
