2nd Gen Rear window motor part numbers.

Hey guys, got a 94 4runner and the rear window takes like 30 seconds to go up, i heard a while back that some different toyota window motors fit, anyone happen to know from which models and years i can look for at the junkyard?

It's not the answer to your question but have you hooked up the motor leads directly to a good battery to see how it functions? You could have a wiring issue causing a drop in current.

Not yet, but it was slow from both the switch and the tailgate, and now it wont even go up without me helping it along. I still believe its the motor but will give that a try.

All Window motors are spec the same

The plugs might be different but any window motor will work. The rear ones are used the least and easier to get to in the junk yard..

did it bolt straight up? the wiring isn't a problem.

Try the leads to a battery first. Also make sure your window tracks are properly greased.

Thanks for the replies, i ended up finding a hardly used one and swapped it in, works like a charm now !
