Always wanted a 4runner.... Now ive got one.... in proccess of becoming the SK8 Runner.... gonna build custom skate accessories such as a board rack and tool area.... but for now just stock.... needs a wash

:bravo:2X4 3.0 pic still on the lot. Looks like it had been through the auction carosel and not started for a year. No recent pics but I have gotten stock size tires, CLEANED inside out and fuel system, rip-off check at Toyota of Chula Vista. I have chrome lug nuts and flat blacked the wheel bearing center caps. Seat covers, yada yaya. I love it and drive it with the slightest excuse now (stepkid still is on a permit

oh damn! are you from San Diego because I was looking through Craigslist and I think I remember seeing that exact 4Runner on there.

That would be the one from Auto Mart, El Cajon Blvd. I looked at about 20 Runners before picking this "Internet Special." It was a roll of the dice. I won. Actually I looked and it had zero leaks, the top end was all new, the radiatir was new and the timing belt was 30K miles old, and everything electronic worked (the truck has a suprizing number of neat features, including the intermittent feature on the rear window wiper. It's for my 15 year old stepdaughter but I have told her a few times I will keep it if she gets a job and buys another car one day.

rock sliders are 50% complete (drivers side is complete), Lockrite locker in the front,aussie locker should be here with in the week for the rear, and wait`n on new piston rings then she`ll have fully rebuilt 3vze, and to top it a 5spd swap with new 32" goodyear mt/r kevlar

Rims for the Auto Mart special
I acquired some 1997 alloys for the 93 and they need stripping so I am doing just the machined (shiny) areas with aircraft stripper. This job will be waiting when I get back from deployment, and I can get some cooler tires than the 1950's 'military jeep' looking ones (225/75/15) I have on it now

Here is mine I did some trading for and came out on top I believe. A few before and afters.
1st pic is when I first got it and got the 4wd working. Had to try it out after all the snow started melting. Had 31x10.5s
2nd pic is when I put the 33x12.5's on it and black wheels
3rd pic is after I painted all the chrome on it black
4th pic is after we were out playing around in some mudholes down from the house

They do rub slightly when you are turning sharp and the truck rolls a little. Just gotta be careful. The body also sits down on it when it flexes out. That is why I want to go w/ 3" or 4" lift. Thinking about going w/ LandCruiser coils in the rear and maybe ball joints spacers up front and crank up the bars some. Gotta see how the money falls into play. Anyone got a set of coils laying around and panhard bar???

Hi guys, just bought my 1st 4Runner last week. It's a '95 SR5 4x4 3.0L I'm in love already! It has 127k on it and a special bonus.....every receipt since new for maintenance, etc.! I asked them if they've ever had a problem with the transfer case and they said "what's that?" And I thought "SOLD!!!" hahahaha
