This is my 92. It has a 22re with a 5speed. Bought it 100% stock 2 months ago and now just starting to change stuff up.

YEah my first toyota was a v6 (88 4runner) but in parting it out because I didn't want to deal with the head gasket bull****.
Once I saw this one for sale I jumped on it because the 22re is not real common in the second gen t4r's it seems

I was thinking about doing that to because i would use the rig for crawling and those 4cyl are bullet proof i dont need to be goin over 75 on highways i just need torque...; ) gotta love them 22re's!!!

They are hard to find i've noticed. Here is a picture of my buddies 91 22RE 4Runner.

This isn't true, i have blown up 1 that had under 10,000 and my buddy has blown up 2 with under 10,000. I like the V6 automatic better for wheeling.

Lucky, I've alway's wanted a Total Chaos'd out 4Runner. My cuz races the team bee hive ranger and was going to get me deal's on the kit, but there is no desert around her so i decided against it. SICK 4RUNNER!

thanks man. this is my dream 4runner...almost haha...still have alot to do. Its got king bypasses in the rear as well so she rides like a dream. list is.. cage, tundra or ford 9 rear axle, leaf spring swap and roof rack/ light bar, seats and 5 point harnesses front and rear and last but not least a twin turbo supra motor swap haha.... beehive just won their class at the 250 right?

Yes Beehive brought it home in the LS1 ranger.
