Leaf rear with a diesel....now thats a cool truck. And its looks to be in pretty good shape!

yup rear leaf springs, middle east version. i installed the diesel, my daily driver. here are some pics of the rear suspension

yup rear leaf springs, middle east version. when i got it it had a 22R motor, removed it and replaced it with a 1kz-te 3.0 efi turbo diesel

Hey,

Just thought I wanted to post some pics since last time...
New stuff is the roof rack I've build, skid plates, snorkel and probably some other parts as well.

1KZ-T diesel still running strong!

Luckily, as no-one here knows what to do with these 4Runners... We have about 5 registered in the whole country!!! :frog:

Here's my 93 22RE 5spd when i first bought it in November of 2009.

Here it is present day after LC Coils, BJ Spacers, Pro Comp ES 3000 shocks, extended brake lines, panhard drop bracket, diff drop, 4.88's, new OEM ball joints, new tie rods, AISIN manual hub swap, American Racing D-Windows wrapped in 33x12.5 KM2's.

Parts I have waiting to be installed.

Engnbldr Street RV Head, 268 cam, Flowmaster 40, 2.25" exhaust (ordered from Dave's Offroad, waiting for delivery), super high flow cat : , an extra set of injectors to send to WitchHunter to get rebuilt

I still want to buy new rocker arms and new high oil capacity rocker shafts. I will then install the new head and other parts.

I have some body work to do on the quarters and I can then move forward with my paint. Well, not paint, but Durabak.

I have a "build" thread on here that I will update with stuff as I get it done and have time.

sadly and stupidly i sold this runner...for a pretty penny i must say tho

then 2 toyota 4x4 PICKUPS later lol (i buy and sell a lot)

got me a steal on another 4runner
1995 v6 4x4 5spd

only thing it has is a rear coil spacer and newer style 4runner rims

ohh and tint lol
this one will not be sold

Have had several cars, mostly Toyota, but this has been my first 4WD vehicle. I traded it for a Tercel I customized and boosted. Needed something that could pack a couple extra "hatches"(family additions) and be used for surf and camping. So far it has gone above and beyond my expectation. Needed a little TLC, but am now very happy with it.

It's a 1990, originally 22RE(160K), but converted to carb. 5spd manual transmission. Sporting a new 38Weber, 4-1 header, 2.25" exhaust, MSD wires and coil. 31x10.5x15's with stock gearing and 3"(or maybe 4") lift.

My '95 22R-E 4Runner 4WD

Just bought it, needs a little work, paid $500.00 cdn. Has 3" suspension lift, rebuilt front end, 2 new front fenders, solid body and chassis, 31"x10.5"-15" Goodyear Wrangler Territory's. Work in progress :frog:
