3.0 muffler of choice?

I know that a lot of 22re guys get 40 and 50 series flowmaster mufflers. Just want to know what 3.0 guys like.

I put a 2-1/4 40 series on my 3.0 and while doing so I found that the cat had been gutted and a pipe welded through it (I guess to stop echo) and I think it has a great sound. It's a bit louder than I wanted but I think I the cat was functional it would be perfect.

I was running a flowmaster 40 where the cat should be with a small turn down. But its pretty mangled now and will probably just be changed out with some sort of glass pack. This is on a trail only truck, so no inspection issues for not having a cat.

I *think* as long as you have the stock exhaust manifolds, there will be plenty of pressure. Anything you do to the exhaust without the addition of headers, only effects sound

It's a 2 1/2 inch Cat Back with a High-Flow Cat, and a Flowmaster 40 muffler. Love the way it growls when in low range!

I would love to go but money and having 2 kids under the age of 4 are both issues
