3.0 TPS direction

I have a 1992 3.0. When I bought it person did not have tps on it.
Bought one, trying to figure out which way it goes. Googleing and using a repair manual there is no 100% answer to which way it goes.

Does the pug face towards the driver or passenger side?

Also will be testing to get it dialed in.

How do you reach the throttle stop screw to allow the throttle to go back?

Also do I need to release the bolt by the tps that pushes on the plunger?

I would think the TPS should work installed either way. It only rotates one direction as does the throttle butterfly, so flipping it 180 degrees is still going to make it rotate in that direction with the butterfly.

Looks like it goes facing the passanger side (plug) b/c the throttle hits on the side of the TPS not allowing it to fully open.

Adjusting the stop screw. Will gap it .85mm.

Once that stop screw is set I will start to set the tps. Also will need to adjust the dashpot and throttle opener.

What is the best way to set the dashpot and throttle opener?

TPS adjustment and setting

I took the throttle body off and started to test the TPS and set it. To start i have 2 new Denso TPS and the original. Also have a spare TPS harness for so i can put multi meter on easily.

I go to set the TPS and here are the readings that i get.

1992 3.0 engine---
1. VTA - E2---5.96K (Good
2. IDL - E2---5.96k --the same (should read less than 2.3k with .77MM gauge)

I am way off on the step 2.

Does anyone have an idea what might be the problem?

Link is the directions i am going off of.
