I got the supercharger removed today. It is ready to be shipped out now. I realized after taking it off how much of a difference it makes just in normal city driving, feels so slow now!

its a 6 speed and its already pretty fast with just a chip. ko4's would definatly be in if the k03s go out.

*if*?

Haha....Audi is a fantastic car to own & drive if you have deep pockets or you can work on it yourself. I fall into the latter category, owned 3 (still have one). One needs to have the mentality that something will go out sooner than later, although I've had remarkable Audi-luck with this one after 3 years. More money has been spent on suspension, wheels/tires, & exhaust than maintenance or repair.

Nice, I would love a wagon. Hers is a sedan. I have been wrenching on it for two years now lol. I know the pain of working on the car. No Major problems yet, just small repairs that parts are fairly cheap just really labor intensive to replace.

about 80k miles, non-dynamic tensioner, comes with everything needed to install and a new belt

so what is the Non-dymanic tenscioner anyway. are there two?
I am starting to research and just wondering what to expect if I strap this on to my Runner at 125k miles. would it be suggested? with 80k on the SC.

thanks

Lemme put it this way.. Hell yes! 125K ain't sh!t. I'd buy that thing right now if I could.

125k is not a lot at all on a 3.4 . mine has over 200k , many others are supercharged with 200k also. if your engine is in good shape and well maintained should be no problems. 80k on the sc shouldl not be anywhere near its end, it will probably need a nose cone rebuild in 50-60k . a nose cone rebuild kit is around $200 , a full complete rebuild from magnuson runs about $600 with shipping included and refurbishes the entire supercharger. i found a couple posts while searching about it below. I'm sure you will get some answers in your other post as well.

"I had the TRD S/C installed on my 01 Taco before I even took delivery. It now has over 171K on it with a nose drive replacement at 150K. I never did install a 7th injector and sometimes it still pings, but this is the best truck that I've ever had.

The buyer will need this check valve for the installation. When i unintalled the sc, I did not have a vacuum hose to replace the one you have to cut to install this valve. you may be able to just get one at advance or napa but i ordered from toyota to make sure i had the right one. Everything else needed to install is included, will throw in the used 2 step colder spark plugs i was using also, however would probably be wise to just get new ones anyway
